I had a nice stay. The rooftop bar was nice. Look, if showers with like half glass and that dont close all the way are your pet peeve...I would stay away other than that. It was amazing. 200 character minimum.

Thanks so much for hanging out with us this week! I'm thrilled that you had such a good time and got to check out Tope. I will pass along your observation about the shower and brainstorm a solution. Thanks for your feedback - we hope to see you again!

I stayed here for a week and never needed for anything. I stayed in a shoebox - the smallest room and even that was enough for me. The bathroom accessories and such were great, you can rent bikes for free from the hotel, which saved me a lot of time. It was great for the price. HOWEVER the location is not great. Very unsafe and sketchy.

Thanks so much for hanging out with us this week! We really appreciate you taking a moment to contribute your feedback. I'm delighted to hear that you loved with Shoebox room - I think they're pretty great myself! I would also like to address your concerns about the neighborhood: I apologize for any distress you may have felt walking around. I do believe things will start to improve soon! We have partnered with 2 local non-profits and a business alliance in hopes that we will encourage the city to provide much needed resources to the folks who are living on the streets.
We hope to see you again!

Loved my experience at the Hoxton, Portland! Stayed 3 nights and wanted to move in permanently! The staff was stellar!!! Started out with making a reservation with Josey and he couldn’t have been more helpful and kind….met Elli upon arrival and she offered to pick up a birthday cake for our celebration to be held up at Tope, the most fun roof top bar with great people!!! Her Front Desk staff, Sarah, Brooke Delphina, etc. reflect what a great leader she is! Catalina, the person I thought should be the manager if she isn't up at Tope, welcomed me (senior female) and made darn sure I was well taken care of each time I visited the Restaurant! August was such a breath of fresh air as the hostess with the mostest!!! I manage a resort and I sincerely feel the ownership should be proud of their team!! Security person was on his game too!!!

Service was exceptionally friendly and thoughtful. Delphina and Sarah were very helpful in helping us change rooms after our first night of loud AC and traffic and loud voices from the street. They both also had great suggestions for fantastic restaurants and transportation options. Sam was a great server in the upstairs restaurant and had many tips for us as first time visitors. Zach was very accommodating in helping us when we brought back takeout food - bringing us plates and silverware and inviting us to make ourselves at home in the lobby/bar area. we really enjoyed chatting with him. Our only drawback was the neighborhood. We were verbally accosted by a homeless person and did not feel safe walking down the street. We never went out after dark. It seems Portland needs more time to heal after the riots and Covid.

Room tip: don't take the corner room on the busy streets especially floors 1 & 2.

Thank you so much for not only dropping by, but for taking a moment to share your experience with us. It is so encouraging to hear that our team made an impression through their friendliness and helpfulness. This is always our goal! I also wanted to take a moment to address your concerns regarding the neighborhood. We are actively partnered with a couple of local non profits working to improve our community and we're seated on the board of a business alliance where we encourage new businesses to come set up shop in our area. It is through these two efforts that we are hoping to allocate necessary resources for our neighbors on the streets.
Thank you for your kind words - we hope to see you again soon!

Traveling alone from Carmel California this was more or less my first foray Into the travel word in a couple of years. After a brief evening on the town I returned to the hotel. Like the portcullis of an old enchanted castle, the doors are big and heavy. I made my entrance and there he stood in all his glory. Like a prince, gracing the courtyard, there he stood in all his handsome glory; plucking away at his computer. In a brief reprieve, from what I can only assume was a stern mitigation of the mundane, he glanced up with a warm and welcoming smile. This old heart dropped to the basement. Small in stature, but twice as handsome with his soft features and warming allure my soul could do little more than ache for his embrace. Reluctantly I retire to my chamber; small or “snug” as they put it, was the perfect size for this single love struck traveler. My bed was very comfortable, and the room was immaculately clean. I tossed myself back on my bed and as I drifted off to sleep my mind began began to wonder, as it does with a woman of my vintage, if I were 30 years younger maybe, just maybe… dare I say it? I do. Steven……Steven…..three times STEVEN! How we could have been lovers in a different life! Ah well, 5 out of 5. Def recommend the Hoxton Portland.
