Fine hotel, glad we stayed. Overdue exterior pressure wash underway while we were there. Back garden and patio areas need some attention. Beautiful refurbished interiors; outstanding cafe. Wonderful staff all around. Would definitely stay again!
The complex is basically really nice but needs a good scrubbing in the pool area and obviously the clear panels and canvas in the pool area have not been cleaned up this year and weeds are taking over the landscaping, some being a few feet tall by the pool. The parking lot needs cleaned up in the landscaping and swept. It was disappointing to find out the J B’s Bar and Grill in no longer on the view side of the river but in the lobby and it’s a coffee shop. We stayed for 3 days and requested stay over service but did not get any service the entire time. The place would be worth the cost if the grounds were neat and clean to look at. The inside of the rooms are nice.

Grossly overpriced and would not accept a discount at check in. Hotel is old and was filthy. Two large groups were there for breakfast and the restaurant made everyone stand in line and order from one overworked employee. Getting through the order breakfast line took almost 30 minutes, then you had to wait for your order to be cooked and all of the tables had been taken. Never let them put you on the interstate #5 side of the building with the trucks 24 hrs a day. We paid almost $270 for a room shown on trip advisor for $140

One of the hotel employees, Siylla Singh, went above and beyond to help me retrieve my luggage from Alaska Airlines to meet my cruise departure time. It was an inconvenient time and I was grateful for the help.
It’s too clear that this hotel needs to be upgraded. The tile floor in the entrance and bathroom is so old, has cracks where the finish has come off. The shower needs to be regrouted where it’s black in places. Most of the front desk staff is nice and accommodating but Chris needs to be taught what customer service is. When I asked why he was so rude when everybody else was so nice, I was told by his boss “he’s on a mission to find our portfolios.” I said he should be nicer to customers.
