I've stayed at this property multiple times over the years, and always found it to be a fine, convenient stay. Sorry to say that I'll be looking for a new go-to in the PDX area. The rooms are showing their age with marked-up and dinged furniture and finishes, the airport shuttle is unpredictable, and simple requests weren't honored. For over $300/night, I expect much more than I received in terms of quality and responsiveness.
Special note - although the property is less than two miles from the airport terminal, budget at least 30 minutes for pick-up or drop off. Be sure to ask how long the pick-up or drop off will be if you're tight on time or the weather is bad. When I tried to (politely) explain the the front desk person that providing an expected wait time would help when calling, I received the most unconcerned, and borderline rude, response. Had I known of the wait, I would have taken a taxi/Uber or even the light rail that stops right near the hotel.
Additionally, they have a fancy robot that patrols the parking lot. Spoke with a passenger who had her catalytic converter stolen from her car in their parking lot, despite the robot. In fact, the entire area feels less safe than it used to. Security guards highly present in all nearby stores, made me question the decision towel around nearby.
