The Nines in Portland was simply amazing. We booked 20+ rooms for a client event. The hotel staff was amazing especially Tricia at the front desk who consistently delivered throughout the entire stay.

I booked a stay at The Nines for myself and my family as I’d be away from home with work over Christmas. The concierge team are fantastic. I emailed them ahead of the stay & Cruz Malochwiej contacted me with a list of restaurant recommendations & holiday celebration ideas. We arrived on the 23rd as one of the few flights to land that day, we were 3 hours late and tired having flown fr London UK but were so happy with the service we received. The hotel and the room were immaculate, the staff were so friendly. When we got to our room Cruz had arranged for stockings filled with candy for the kids & a chilled bottle of fizz for the adults. We had a wonderful Christmas, the hotel made it so special despite the difficult weather. The food and service were brilliant too. Thank you to The Nines staff for a wonderful stay.

What a terrible experience at the Nines. I did not expect that at all. I stayed before and it was ok, not great, but ok. I have booked my husband and our two kids a room for 365 USD in June 2022 for December 2022 since we planned to go to the restaurant in the same building. I have tried to communicate with them around 10 times since (polite brief messages) and they simply did not respond At all. We could neither change or cancel the booking despite that I tried both already in September for the first time. I still have not heard from them. My friend just stayed there and the feedback is - customer service totally lacking (staff acts "too special", young inexperienced), location - huge amount of homeless people right at your doorstep - Pioneer square, atrium rooms extremely claustrophobic. Only positive, very small but overall clean rooms. I would recommend they take it out of the corporate hotel lists and bring your business else where - Lucia, The Benson etc for instance
