Cleaner than my house

I can’t recommend this place enough. The room was so nice- staff was so nice. The beds are so comfortable. Location is right in the middle of town and somehow cheaper than other places in town. We stayed in room 8 and if we ever go back through we will definitely stay here. Don’t let the fact you have to call to book scare you away, this place is a gem.

Have not stayed there since Sept 2nd and 3rd right before my husband's cancer surgery our cabin was dirty, cobwebs everywhere (I know I swept them down) and we had to go buy a plug and shower head to use the tub and shower but we love the area and by this point there was no other option. we went ahead and stayed our 2 days (and paid cash upon our arrival). Every time we stay we get the same cabin style (3x the same cabin) and every time the price is different (always 20.00 higher). Well lo and behold I had some bank issues and found that my card (mind you I paid cash) had been charged for one night on Oct 12th. When I called was told the owner would be right back and would call me back this was saturday I had heard nothing called today was told the owner is not in until Monday. Looks like I have to go back there to get it taken care of. DONT USE YOUR CARDS HERE AND ALWAYS GET A RECIEPT!! VERY SHADY.

After not finding a room in Portland, we pulled in about 10:30 pm and were greeted by a lovely lady, who had a cabin for us! Her husband walked us over to our cabin, they were both wonderful people!

The cabin was beautiful! We had to leave early the next morning but were disappointed as it was so nice.

I would definitely recommend staying here!

We wound up in this town on a whim and found this cute motel. The owners are very nice, the rooms were spacious and came with a kitchen. It was very affordable. I would recommend staying here, especially if you're going to explore the Columbia River Gorge which it is located on. Plenty of local hiking trails in close proximity.

Room tip: Corner room is nice for privacy

We stayed two nights for the Bridge of the Gods half marathon weekend. I have to say we were pleasantly surprised upon checking in. On the outside it is a retro, slightly funky looking old motel. The room (#1) was a good size with kitchenette. Microwave, frig, blender, sink and 2 burner stove top. No wifi and our T-Mobile didn't get consistent 4G service in town. Lodge is within walking distance of everything in town and closest trails.

We had a relatively good stay at this friendly motel. Our room was on a smaller side for the price, and the bathroom could use little bit of renovation but the room was clean, bed comfortable and the location made it super easy to move around town on foot.

If you are looking for basic, no frills place to stay in Cascade Locks, this motel will be the right one for you.
