Five of us were looking forward to visiting this place. It was closed. Okay, there are lots of places closed due to Covid 19 but it seems unnecessary to me to close this place as distancing would be easy (and probably unnecessary due to few tourists at this time of year). Very disappointed. No explanation. No ability to book in. Sad....

We tried all the cheese on offer and then enjoyed 2 glasses of red while savouring a cheese platter. The platter was almost more than we could physically eat....so very generous in its size and flavours....and we got to taste their most expensive cheddar cheese.
Worth a 20-30 min stop to enjoy all the best of the King Island cheeses.

went to King Island on the Gooney Bird (old DC3) from Essendon airport for a day trip (birthday Present) part of the tour included the King Island Cheese factory. well you get great tasting of all their products which are fantastic, then you can purchase them as well and far cheaper than buying in Coles/Woolworths in Melbourne and they even give you free ice packs to put with your cheeses. Not to be missed if u go to King Island
