When you're on your next road trip, give yourself a treat and factor in a stay in Tenterfield which is a federation town set amongst beautiful country. It's only a short drive to Stanthorpe and the wineries region of the Granite belt but the real jewel in the crown is Carpe Diem Guesthouse and Cottages. There you are offered real old fashioned hospitality but with no modern comfort over looked.
From the moment we stepped through the door on arrival Kat treated us with culinary delights in the form of freshly baked scones with jam and cream in a truly cosy setting in front of a fire. Following a very comfortable night spent in our luxurious suite complete with with a claw footed bathtub and fluffy towels, .we were greeted with a sumptuous breakfast of bacon, eggs, tomatoes and mushrooms and if you still had room there were pancakes with maple syrup and a stunning fruit platter. Now we have an excellent reason to plan our trips around this enchanting destination.More
