No staff on entry. Waited ages then had to call them to get service. Room unbelievably noisy with traffic noise. Carpet very dirty. No lift and no eating facility attached. Bed was very comfy and clean. Room size was good.
We absolutely loved it ! So reasonable and very friendly and amusing staff . We will definitely return as so convenient for Newcastle . It is perfect for me as a stopover when I collect my daughter from uni and great you take our dog. . Thank you so much! We had a wonderful chat with the chambermaids in the morning who advised us on local Christmas events and tourist attractions. Spotlessly clean too!

Lovely and warm despite the -5 degree temp outside , nice and clean and close to good local restaurants and shops .no noise or ruckus as most of the guests were weary travellers. Olga on reception was a lovely kind host , most helpful, can't fault it
It gets 2 stars because it is cheap so that’s a pro. However my stay was very unpleasant. The noise of people opening their doors was too loud, it kept me up all night. Very dirty bathroom with hairs still in the bathtub from previous guests. I travelled up from Gloucester (4.5hr journey) to stay the night here but the postcode on their website was completely wrong and took me to another travelodge. This added an extra 30 minutes onto my journey at 11pm.
