Candy and Peter together with their team made us very welcome in their quirky old building with beautiful walled garden. Very dog friendly, delicious food, excellent accommodation and cosy friendly atmosphere….the perfect getaway! Highly recommended

Room tip: Always reverse into the car park!!!!

I have just stayed at the Old Vicarage in Bridgwater with my family and dog.
All the staff were super friendly and helpful - even our dog was made to feel welcome with lots of attention from the staff.
The hotel room had a lot of character with beams and sloping floors etc.
The food was also good - lovely fillet steak for dinner and then great Full English and halloumi/avo/egg breakfasts.
Thank you!

The only place we would stay in Bridgwater. Candy and Peter are perfect hosts and the staff there is nothing too much trouble for them. Fabulous room, food and parking. I really wanted to stay another night, perfection.

Thank you Tracy for your kind review. We pride ourselves on our breakfasts as it is normally the last meal that you will have with us and we feel that it is important to make sure that it is all freshly cooked. So glad that you enjoyed dinner as well. Kind regards, Candy and the team.
