We stayed in the lodges for the weekend and they were everything we had hoped for and more. We have stayed in a range of different accommodation in different countries ranging from luxury hotels to glamping but this was the first time in a lodge and we loved it. It was extremely clean, spacious and my tween son loved the fact that he had his own en-suite room. The kitchen was well equipped but the icing on the cake for me was the terrace with the hot tub with views over the countryside. During our weekend we visited Aysgarth falls, which were beautiful. The only thing that could be improved is the restaurant, the service was slow and they ran out of two of the main dishes.

Dear Maman125,

Thank you for your 5 star review! We're happy you enjoyed your stay with us so much. I completely agree about the views here, they are my favourite part about working here! I do apologise for your experience at the restaurant, I will definitely pass along your feedback to try and ensure any future guests do not have a similar experience.

I'll start with the good points: fantastic site, fabulous location. Ate at the restaurant one lunch time all was great. Great walk to Aysgarth Falls.
Lodge was lovely. My son enjoyed the farm. He also did a archary lesson which was very good. We were very lucky with fabulous weather.
A few bad points: walls in the lodges are very thin, neighbours were playing loud music whilst in the hottub on arrival went on for several hours which ruined the first night and next day. Thankfully they left midweek.
The hot tub goes off all through the night and as I am a light sleeper kept me awake with it being next to the bedroom window.

Great location for exploring North Yorkshire

Dear jozosb,

Thank you for your review, we are lucky to have such a fabulous setting for our park, and we're glad that you enjoyed your time here, and that your son had such a good time too! We do apologise for the disruption you suffered while staying with us, as a family oriented park we do try and remind guests to be respectful of their neighbours and try and avoid excessive noise.

It was a pretty awesome start even before we arrived when I got a call two days before arrival to offer an early check in. So we hit the roads and checked into the park at 2.30pm. What surprised us was how the lodges were discreet to the area, you'd never guess they were there. We had a great drive through check in and the minute we entered we knew we were in for a treat. The hot tub was ready to go, the lodges were superbly clean and they even left a little glass bottle of milk in the fridge freezer (which was a full size!)

Aysgarth and Cauldron falls were a 20 min walk either sides from the park. We also went into Leyburn for a shopping and ice cream spree. Forbidden Corner (a maze of caves, tunnels and magical wonders) is a 5 mile drive away.

By far the best moments were early morning and late evenings when we found every excuse to jump into the hot tub. The tubs were checked for chemicals and water levels every morning by extremely friendly staff.

A couple of nights, we had a few G and Ts on an outside table by the park that got delivered to our table whilst we watched the kids play in the well equipped. We loved Mollys farm and chatting to Carly and Lea about the animals made our day. We even loved the story of how the farm was named! I am from dubai so this made me laugh. I know the staff will know what I mean.

We ordered pizza to our lodge one evening which was absolutely delicious and the chips were so well fried that we ordered them again as a side only to go with our own food one night!

Our final night was made up with a great chat with John who has been there since the Park started and he told us all about the dales, it's villages and the families. He might have even tempted us to retire there!

Thanks Aysgarth Lodges for the absolutely wonderful stay, looking after us so well and giving us a great break. We can't wait to return!

Just back from four nights at Aysgarth lodges and the place was amazing. Staff lovely and friendly and the amenities were very good, even the doggy wash. The lodge, we had an Escape plus was very well equipped a home from home. Lovely beds and soft furnishings. The hot tub was great every night relaxing after a day out in the Dales. Bar and restaurant very well presented. Defo will return and looking at the sister site in Ullswater for next year.

Last day of a lovely family get away. Cant recommend this holiday enough. Staff were all great and so friendly. Amazing lodge with lots of extra little treats for everyone even the dogs. We all loved the hot tub and the beautiful views. Mollys petting farm was a bit hit, swings, large fields and just a calm and peaceful park. Lodge spacious and catered for everyone’s needs. Beautiful falls and walks all around and Mills tea room is a must!
