I cannot fault the experience the staff give us at the Fountain. Stayed here for a night out in Cowes but ended up enjoying a lovely meal and drinks at the pub. Great atmosphere and live music which added to our evening. Il definitely stay here again.

What a great dog-friendly pub. We had a cracking meal here today. We both had the steak and ale pie which was amazing. When we arrive with our dog we were given a little crate containing water, bowl and blanket for him and his own dog menu. He had chicken breast with pigs in blankets!! It was just a lovely touch. Would definitely recommend.

We were over on Isle of Wight for the day. Had a delicious lunch and a few beverages at The Fountain Inn.
Our Waitress Nicki took such good care of us, so warm and friendly, just like the atmosphere in the pub and beer garden. Highly recommend stopping in.

We went in last night 4th June for dinner 3 grandkids and a dog in tow. We were greeted well and had the banter with the landlord over northern football teams. Brilliant! Dinner was exceptional, the kids enjoyed it and after the youngest woke up from a power nap he welcomed her too. Great pub grub, great service and he even came outside to see us off. Loved it and thank you so much ..to all of you👍💂
Amazing customer service. And they redefined the term "dog friendly". When we arrived we were seated by the landlord, he was very friendly and even gave our dog a bed to settle in and a crate with water a bowl and a blanket. There was also a dog menu to that was very reasonably priced. All the staff came over to meet our dog but it never felt overbearing, just very friendly. We got chatting with the owners and they have an obvious passion for what they do and that shows in their pub and their service. They told us that they have hotel rooms all of which are dog friendly. If we knew this when we booked our long weekend in isle of wight we would definitely have stayed there. If you are in Cowes with your dog or even without, I would definitely recommend popping in. The food was reasonably priced and very tasty. 10/10 highly recommend
