we visited the restaurant and just like anytime we have been before the food is amazing, lovley service and the staff are so friendly, our waitress was Nicki and she was so friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend visiting, will definitely be returning

We visited on spec for lunch knowing greeneking pubs are dog friendly. Not only was the Fountain dog friendly they went above and beyond to make our Furry family member welcome as well as ourselves. Warm friendly staff we were served with great food by Nicki, and it was a great experience. As a director of a number of companies I would be proud to have such great staff as employees. A very well run pub, 10/10.

We stayed here for just one night on a weekend visit to the Isle of Wight - while we were here we had lovely food and very kind and attentive staff (Katelyn) - also very nice room with cosy feel - we really enjoyed our stay in this super dog-friendly accommodation :-)

Me and my husband came in for breakfast and we was pleasantly surprised, the food was fabulous lovely fresh produce and great quality, the service was wonderful the lady that served us was very accommodating and friendly, we will definitely be back! Highly recommended

This was our 3rd visit, still finding an entertaining with great atmosphere within the public house and hotel.
The staff are very pleasant across the reception to the restaurant, bar area and back of house, all giving a welcoming invitation to our break,
The breakfasts are 5* with a wide verity, from full breakfast to cereal including Danish and also to items that may not even be on the main menu.
The evening menu also provides varied options and are well present, this time we rebooked New Year’s Eve the menu and food was excellent.
Rooms are decorated and presented in a Victorian manor in deco and furniture and within character of the building.
Evening entertainment is provided ie music, quiz nights etc
We would intend to be revisiting The Fountain Inn again in the very near future.
