Just had a wonderful week at Villa Rothsay. Margaret the host was very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Felt very spoilt. Rooms are clean, comfortable and well stocked. Great views of the Solent. Lots of interesting sailing memorabilia
Great hotel with bags of charm and character but also comfortable and quiet. great service, breakfast was excellent. Margaret and all the staff super friendly and helpful. Honesty bar was a lovely touch and all relaxing areas very nice for our walking group. Stunning views from our balcony.
This is the most brilliant gem of a place! Spectacular views, comfortable and the most charming, lovely hosts. Quirky and unique and really worth a visit! The breakfast is delicious and bespoke. Home made marmalade and everything made to order plus fantastic views as you savour the delights!
I stayed at the Villa Rothsay for a business trip with some colleagues for one night. We had a fantastic stay with the team and Margret took great care of us.
Myself and my colleagues loved the charm of the hotel and were really impressed with the quality of service and attention to detail. We had a great buffet lunch before heading out in the afternoon and really nice breakfast the next day.
Very clean rooms with large comfortable beds and everything you could need for an overnight stay.
Would highly recommend for individuals, couples and groups!
Stayed here as a last minute booking ! What a treat, this is beautiful (was going to write hotel) but, honestly felt like I been let into a very special beautiful home. So many impressive pictures on the walls of who has stayed here, yachtsman, statesman, could spend hours just looking at the history of this place. If the walls had ears !
Amazing hospitality by the owner and all her staff. Breakfast was superb overlooking the Solent. Thank you for being unequivocally you ! It works and we loved it !
