Not many places in a city offer free parking which is a huge bonus! We have used the Campanile chain in France and have always been pleased with the standard of accommodation and convenience for the cost. This proved to be the case in Manchester. It is a budget hotel, and should be judged as such.

Stayed here when Manchester was very busy with lots of concerts and events. On the plus side the parking was secure. However, accommodation was very basic, similar to student halls, this wouldn't have been so much of a problem if we hadn't been charged £150 to stay here for a room that should not cost more than £40. I understand about supply and demand but his was just a rip off. Will definitely not be returning

Dear Guest,

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. While I wish you had a better experience, it is feedback like this that we learn from and use to improve. We work hard to deliver an exceptional guest experience, and it's apparent in this case that we fell short. We will pass your comments onto our management team for review.

Yes I get it is budget. Yes I know even budget hotels whack the price up on weekends....but this was a joke.

Worse than the worst Travelodge I have stayed in, and a lot more expensive. You don't expect much at the bargain end, but cleanliness would help. Room had a hole in the wall, smelled bad (once the oust/fabreezr wore off) and would have been significantly improved after 1 minute with an anti bac wipe.

The price. Well weekend or not, three figures a night ups the expectation. No WiFi included (I get it mid week, but come on..) actually nothing included except parking. Ibis, premier inn, hostel...anywhere else.

Terrible night's sleep due to noise and lack of temperature control. Loud music blaring on more than one occasion after 4am.

I get it if you want somewhere other than an alley to crash when going out to get hammered, but any other demographic should stay clear.

I can see from the other reviews that a standard response is normally given. The building is badly in need of a refurb, but clearly it is profitable as is. Bad reviews are handled with a shrug.

The staff were actually play. I imagine I would be dead eyed if I spent any stretch of time in there; as it is most had the decency to seem embarrassed. There was no pretence that the rooms were even approaching okay, but they did their job. Fair play to them.

Needless to say I won't be back.

Some of you are saying you are getting what you are paying for. It’s a completely wrong think. Doesn’t matter how much or how less you are paying for you should always get a clean room, even if the conditions are less the cleanless of the room should be on the top of priorities.
The get to stay one night in this hotel and I will say that I’m not gonna come back here for sure, dirty badsheets dirty bath. One word just disgusting.
Will not recommend and will not gonna come back for sure.

Stayed for one night breaking up our journey from Fife to London. It’s basic but perfectly serviceable: our room was big, beds OK, decent shower. All dated but clean and tidy. We chose a rate including breakfast but wouldn’t bother with that again - it was poor value and there’s a McDonalds nearby as well as a Sainsbury’s Cafe. So all in all, if I’d paid the £39 rate they advertise as available, I’d have rated it a point higher but for £90 it was just acceptable.
