Despite being kept up half the night by a unruly Polish street fighting gang, who were evicted from the hotel by the police, I would still recommend this as a place to stay. The hotel is well positioned for Media City’s many restaurants and attractions. Car parking outside the hotel is easy. The views of the Quays and sense of space is welcome when staying in Manchester. The reception staff were welcoming and got it absolutely right in the morning, offering to refund our night’s stay due to the aforementioned problem with no quibbling and followed up with a email confirming our refund. The room (118) was clean and comfortable with great ac. The beds were comfortable and would have normally given you a good nights sleep. Breakfast is ok just a shame the scrambled egg tastes and smells like it’s made from powdered eggs. Surely it doesn’t cost that much to offer fresh eggs. Overall a good place to stay in Salford Quays with very good staff.More
