We are open for breakfast, brunch, lunch and early supper (handy for pre performance meals before shows at the Cliffs Pavilion). We also serve a fantastic afternoon tea (booking required). This cafe is a delight. Not only is the building beautiful and set by the bowling green but the food is delicious!

We met friends for breakfast and were suprised by the menu choices. Everything was laid out beautifully and the food (I had a full English breakfast) was absolutely delicious!

Various options to choose from with slight twists from the norm.

This restaurant is classy and stylish and i can’t wait to go back for lunch and then afternoon tea as i notice they had many other home made delicious things on the menu to try.

Good service and beautiful surroundings

Well worth every penny

The service and food is always good here. I've never been disappointed. The eclectic mix of furnishings and the decor make a great occasion. My friend and I had a delicious (enormous) sandwich, slice of cake and a drink. If you haven't been - it's a MUST!

An attractive restaurant in a great location close to the high street and sea front, staff are friendly and welcoming on arrival. Food is good, especially the Sunday lunches and there is a good selection of cakes on offer. Only disappointment is the slow service, mains came fairly quickly but there was a 49 minute wait to order deserts and then the order was lost. It somewhat spoiled our lunch experience but the waitress did give us a discount and apologised.

Have visited for Sunday lunch on quite a few occasions as the food is always excellent, but yesterday the wait for our meals was very disappointing, taking well over 30 minutes between ordering and arriving at our table. It took the enjoyment away as we were obliged to clock-watch, being parked in a nearby car park. Concerned that time was running out, we felt under pressured to rush the dessert to avoid a parking penalty! However, the staff were very apologetic, clearly embarrassed at the delay, and to compensate we were not charged for our drinks.
