If you just wish to enjoy a stroll, family gathering, barbeque or taking the dog for a walk this is a great area to do this in lovely surroundings and with lake and it's wildlife this makes for a stay of any length. With some onsite facilities and and a short walk to the adjacent town of Needham Market this is a great facility. Get some fresh air and enjoy.

Took my dog for a walk around here for my first visit. There are a lot of dogs around some off the leads. There is a nice play area for children and a place for get teas etc.

This is a lovely area with a collection of positives and only one negative. The park is an open area with a good sized lake home to a variety of ducks geese and wildfowl in general. The walk around this lake is just under a mile and all flat and accessible to mobility scooters though in one place a bit muddy in wet weather. There is also open space where children can play and dogs run freely. The car park is free ans it the whole of the facility and it is a good spot to relax and take a gentle stroll. The only reservations - which stop it from being a 5* in our eyes is that parents need to keep a close watch on small children near the banks and that there is a lack of warning signage where the water is deep. Also the proximity of the railway line disturbs the peace at frequent intervals but this is a small price to pay for a generally nice facility.

A medium sized lake on the outskirts of Needham Market.
The lake itself is clean, it has a hobby rc boat in the main body of water and an area intended for nature at the rear. Walking around the lake is pleasant, the entire lap had a hard tarmac path so is suitable to all and you can walk around the lake at a casual pace in 25 mins. As for facilities, there’s a couple of medium sized play areas for children, the nature area which is home to a variety of birds and bugs. There’s plenty of free parking available and a very small hut with a few little nibbles and ice creams and public toilets. An all round good place to visit for an hour of fresh air.

A lovely place for a walk and for children to play on the two playgrounds. Easy to park and only 15 minutes to get round (with a little one in tow...!).
