Classic conference hotel and it is attached to the conference center. Pros: it is located right on the COTA bus route to and from the airport. Also, there is a free high street shuttle that runs circular to the brewery blocks south and italian villiage north. there is a good mix of pubs and food places around in walking distance. Staff was warm and helpful.
There was nothing not to like as the room was typical with decent amenities (no mini bar), but you can buy a beer downstairs and take it up to your room.

Clean, close to everything — easy walk up N. High St. or over to Arena District or down to capitol building. Love all the restaurants, shops and people watching on High. Convention center is next door. See what’s happening in advance. I did not. And was confronted with the Midwest Haunted Show. I’m not in to Halloween....so. Anyway, the Hyatt is swell. Enjoy.

Let me get the dings out of the way first, and there were only two: one - the breakfast buffet is not free; and two, I was somewhat disappointed with the two lunches provided for our conference group. Since breakfast was part of our conference package it was free for me, and was quite good. However, if you are attending on your own, you pay (10-13$ - 10 for a to go box, 13 dine in). As for the lunches, the meals were uneven. The salads were excellent, as were the desserts, but the entrees were a little bland (and both chicken based), with sticky white rice one day, and clumpy angel hair pasta the next that looked (and tasted) as if it came from a box. Putting all that aside, it was a very satisfying venue for a conference gathering. The staff were terrific, there were many spaces for sitting with a laptop, varied options for beverages and food, the obligatory pool and exercise room, and additional perks - free yoga sessions, and a running club (if you were there on the days these were offered). Additionally, there were numerous food and drink options within easy walking distance - everything from burgers and steaks to Indian food. All in all, a very good experience (and the conference was terrific too!).

Very comfy beds. Very disappointing TV service. Parking is in an garage that is way off-site and requires a hike through skyways, up and down escalators and ramps while dragging heavy luggage, and costs a minimum of $18/day. Food was good but overpriced. But, this is Hyatt Regency where everything is overpriced.
