Food was fantastic and reasonably priced, service is excellent, Nice looking hotel and very clean. Looking forward to going back for a meal.

The Pretoria is a very aesthetically pleasing pub, more so than most, which is complemented by the warm and welcoming staff and also the good prices for drinks.

This is where the praise stops however.
Myself and a group of friends all ordered steaks of different levels of cooked, yet all came out the same. In fact the rare steak was more cooked than the medium rare. The meat was chewy and incredibly dry.

The staff did not know how to make any of the cocktails on the list, which is fine but should be improved on.

The staff went out of their to help and nothing seemed to much trouble, excellent meal, great wine at a reasonable price. Great views overlooking the river.

Stopped for lunch. The vies was spectaculor. We had a lovely windo seat and watched the murrey river and the house boats as we had a relaxed lunch. +The food was very good. The servings very large and the service very good. We would recommend this bistro hotel to anyone

Great family hotel. Kids meals great with activity packs that kept our 10year and 8 year old boys entertained. Good snitzels and great coffee. Great table service and they even made baby chinos for our kids for free.
