A great place to visit or have a picknick lunch. Young kids can play in the sand bed, play music on the outdoor sound garden, get wet from the water attractions, swing, etc.

Adults and youth can observe the garden or pick strawberries and / or blackberries.

The garden was nice to walk around. It is very pretty and the plants were just beginning to bloom this time of year. 1 -2 hours is sufficient time to walk the grounds. It is very family friendly with some activities for younger children.

The botanical garden in Wilson is small but it is well maintained and includes a nice diversity of plants in different settings. It is nice to visit any time of year. The children's garden is relatively new and includes meandering trails.

This is such a special place to visit. The Children's Garden is spectacular and the children love to walk through especially the rain forest and all the interactive areas.

We spent most of our time in the "Secret Garden" because the children LOVED it! The whole facility is so well done, but the secret garden is a must see. Let your kids wear their suits and get wet in the stream, under the raining sunflowers and at the Gazebo. Enjoy the music section and the beautiful plants and flowers. I only wish we had brought a picnic lunch and planned to stay longer, no one wanted to leave! Do bring sun screen and something to drink (although its just a short distance to your car from any spot in the garden.) Well done Wilson County Agricultural Center, Well done indeed!
