Couple 69 and 75 spent 3 nights here. This place is just fantastic. A lovely historic building, the old watch house next to Eden Courthouse, with some internal walls made from lovely blocks of Sydney sandstone, formerly ballast for ships travelling down the coast. The bedrooms with en-suites are comfortable, the front sitting room with lovely fire is very comfortable, the upstairs breakfast room has amazing views. And then to top it off, Gail and David. Fabulous hosts providing excellent breakfast every day, full of useful information about the region but they live offsite and so it’s the best of both worlds - attentive hosts to welcome you on arrival and each morning at breakfast, then you have privacy to enjoy this beautiful house and this really gorgeous area.

Cocora Cottage is so beautiful - cosy and warm, but with an amazing deck that overlooks stunning Twofold Bay. Brekky was great, beds comfy, fire cosy, and lovely hosts only there to cook breakfast in the morning! I highly recommend this beautiful retreat from all that ails you...

Room tip: Either garden room or bayview room stunning choices. Garden room has walk in shower while bayview has a bath/shower combo

This gorgeous heritage home is a wonderful location to base yourself to explore this region without the crowds of Merrimbula.
The hosts David and Gail are exceptional. They prepare a wonderful daily breakfast enjoyed from the deck or lounge which have stunning views over twofold bay.
The fireplace was lit nightly in the cosy formal lounge creating a wonderful winter getaway.
The area had so much on offer with walks, great food at Drift, Ben Boyd National Park to explore and a great bay cruise. Pambula and Merrimbula are a short drive away too. Three days werent enough.
Thanks David and Gail for a memorable stay.

The place itself is an historical building and steps off the main street of Eden. My room overlooked the garden which was comfortable and warm. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious.
The views from the upstairs common lounge area and outside deck are stunning and I spent most of the day just hanging out. The downstairs TV lounge room was cozy with a few DVDs available to watch on a night in.
There was only one guest during my stay due to COVID restrictions coming into place however I enjoyed having the place to myself and enjoying the quiet and the views.
Gail & Dave were very hospitable & accommodating and knowledgeable of the local area .

It had been many years since we were last through Eden so we were keen to get back to Cocora Cottage. Sometimes past memories can be "false" but certainly no this time. A great comfortable place to stay with friendly people. Eden is not exactly big so nothing in town is far away.
