My wife decided to treat me to a Father’s Day dinner here. Great first impressions, we were
greeted warmly, our server Douglass provided impeccable service. He was very knowledgeable of the drink menu and at first I thought he was was a sommelier. Because he presented us with a sample of their signature Capital Cosmopolitan. If we were looking for a place to have a great cocktail, this would be the place. It wasn’t until he returned with the dinner menus did we realize that he was our server. He was very knowledgable about the dinner menu as well. His suggestions on what paired well with our dishes were right on. We started with the Prosciutto wrapped Mozzarella. Very good. My wife had the sea bass which she said was prepared perfectly. She also had the Patz & Hall Chardonnay that matched well. I had the bone in ribeye. Their steaks were generously portioned. I had the Routestock Cabernet. Thumbs up on the meal. We decided to splurge on dessert. We chose to share the chocolate cake with cherries that were soaked in a port wine. It was a satisfying evening.
