We often frequent capital grille. Great and fresh seafood, but be prepared to spend a little money. Nice atmosphere.

I was only in Raleigh for one night and expected to order some fast food and call it a night. Instead, the Capital Grille was just across the street from my hotel and I decided to give it a try. I consider myself a master of steak grilling but wanted the convenience (for once) if someone else doing the work. To start, Jeremy made me an exceptional dirty martini, with blue cheese olives to boot! He also recommended the off-the-menu bone-in fillet mignon, which I regret to say I could not have done as well at home. When I thought I hit the pinnacle, wine director Chris took me behind the kitchen to experience their dry aging room first hand. All in all one of my best dining experiences I’ve ever had. Kudos!

Excellent and courteous service and a menu that is tops. Doubt if you can find a better restaurant in Raleigh.

My wife and I dined here for the first time, special occasion, and were very happy. The restaurant itself is very impressive, clean, and very interesting, especially the stunning wine display right in the main entrance. Staff was great, and wide variety of table selections.
The food was all 5 star in flavor and presentation....one steak was a little tough, which I'm assuming was just luck of the draw, because it was seasoned and cooked perfectly...I mean cooked exactly perfect. The slight toughness is the only reason it's a 4 review and not a 5.
And with everything else so very excellent, I would assume that's not normal, and would eat there again, and recommend it.
I would say a little on the pricey side, but it is upper tier establishment in very desirable location.

Exactly what I would expect from Capital Grille. Pricey but very good service and food. Comfortable room and good for business or a night out.
