Very expensive but totally worth it. Service was top notch. Appetizers were amazing. Got the special: Steak and fried lobster.... So good.

Been there 2 times and the food and service is great... The executive chef Matt Mcneely visited us at our table to make sure we were happy with the food. This chef can dish out some top quality EATS!!!!!

I have now been there 2x since opening. It is a great steakhouse with excellent food. Steak Tat Tar was outstanding as were the Filets. Service is still iffy. Too many folks serving still seem a bit lost. We were fortunate to get Scott on our second visit who worked in Fla for them and he was outstanding, but he is the exception.If service will bother you I would wait a few weeks more. The restaurant looks great! Once you walk in you could be in NYC, LA, Chi etc

We went to dinner at the new "The Capital Grille" this past Friday and were hoping for great experience. We got it! We sat at the bar because we are bar people and really enjoy meeting and talking to bartenders, and we believe you get the best service at a good bar. This bar is outstanding. The atmosphere is amazing and the staff even better. We were welcomed immediately by Meagan, Bethany, and Andrea. They made us feel welcome and appreciated. The drinks we ordered were fantastic and we settled in for a relaxing evening. We ordered steak and sea bass for our entries with sides of mashed potatoes and asparagus. They were both outstanding! It was by far the best meal we've had since we moved to Raleigh two years ago. The North Hills area really needed a class place like this and we look forward to going back often in the future. The Capital Grille is a little pricey but you get what you pay for. We were very impressed with how smooth this place was operating in it's first week of operation. One last shout out of recognition to Hunter who bused the bar, he did a great job too.

I eat out at the nicer restaurants in Raleigh. This was my 3rd time at the Capital and it was an incredible evening. Service at the bar was magnificent. Joe one of the managers came by and treated us to some great apps. Please try the Calamari or the chops. The restaurant is beautiful and the bar is the best. When it cools down the outside patio is warm and inviting. This is my go to place in Raleigh. If you are price conscience it is well worth every penny. I am not a filet person but the sliced filet melts in your mouth.
