This is my second favorite lighthouse (my first looks almost identical though) and I super excited to have seen it. Lucked up too, as they just released us to walk out on the balcony since the winds had died down a bit. Views galore. Lovely, lovely. Good exercise too!

A great piece of history an a must see VIEW. The climb is worth it!!! The staircase is narrow an no A/C however there is places that you can stop to rest.

A must see if you are in the area. The climb is not for the faint of heart. The staircase is narrow and can be quite hot inside. The views are worth the climb if you are in good shape!

We climbed the lighthouse years ago, before it was moved to its new location. The views are still spectacular. About 270 steps, more or less, with landings along the way. The two very small children with us were not allowed in, but they enjoyed walking around the grounds with their mother while they waited for the rest of our group to climb the lighthouse. There is an small but interesting on site museum and gift shop.
