Unpretentious, but totally good, honest food.
We were three friends, meeting for lunch, and were just too early in the season to eat 'au jardin'. No problem, indoors was just fine. We all decided to go for the 'menu du jour'. Starters of charcuterie/salads was tasty, wonderful rustic bread, replenished throughout the meal went well with the next course of deep fried broccoli tempura in a spicy tomato sauce. Main course of pork chops with chips and green beans, filled us all to the extent that no one could face dessert, opting for coffee. Our bill, with wine, was €48. Fantastic value, with gracious service and authentic ambiance.
