We booked for two nights, but we stayed four. The rooms are simple and that was all we needed. But we we got more: Selim, the host, and his brother Jamal were the best guys to meet we could wish for when visiting a foreign country. The atmosphere is very family and they gave us great advices, gave us company at markets (which saved us a lot of money) and provided us with trustworthy drivers. I forget most hotels and B&Bs I stay in, because I never come for the hotel but the city. But this one I will definitely remember and I hope to come back to Sansibar again to stay there and meet the hosts again.

I was there in the rainy season so the weather was not that hot. The staff and owner are very nice people. The location is close to the airport so a bit far from the city centre. However, there is a car rental in the neighbourhood so I rented a car from there. They have nice little cats as well. I really enjoyed my time there. The mosquito net around the bed was a good thing. For this price the hotel was what I expected.

I loved this place. It was a perfect start for a vacation around Zanzibar and Mafia Island.
Perfect to adapt to the climate and atmosphere. Salim, the manager and al his staff are friendly and care how you experience your stay and how they can improve it and help you out with getting from your stay or vacation what you want. Food is excellent. Atmosphere is like you are staying over at a friends. I felt very welcome here and very well taken care of. Stone Town is a 30 min. busride away, shops for beer, softdrinks and food 10 minutes by foor and beach about a 30 min walk. This is the kind of neighbourhood where everybody knows everybody so quite safe to walk around at any time of day. Do yourself a favour. After getting here by airplane, stay here for at least two nights/one full day and talk to Salim and get to know what people are like here: friendly, warm and always in for a joke.

Hii Ives. Apologies took too long to respond. Spent a month traveling the northern part of Tanzania.
Believe me Ives the pleasure was all ours. We just wish we could have done for you.
Please feel free to come again. Amira's Roomz Zanzibar is your home now away from home.
Thank you for your kind words.
Good luck and enjoy life.

We spent one night in Salim guesthouse and everything was just perfect... An amazing welcome in Tanzania!! A huge room with mosquito net and clean bathroom. The more reliable wi-fi we have found in Tanzania!!! A very efficient and practical airport pick-up. We even tried the delicious food prepared by Rehema on the terrace surrounded by exotic trees. We recommend +++++ !!!

Hiiiii. Best review ever that we have to live with and maintain. Thank you very very much. I have passed on the comments to Shaaban the transport guy, Rehema the food lady and the rest of the team. All are appreciative. And Salim who sits there doing absolutely nothing says thank you.
Please welcome everyone and challenge us.
