We were on our way to another attraction and saw these beautiful water falls and had to check them out. There is a nice trail to walk or jog and a covered bridge. We enjoyed this quaint little place and wish we could have stayed longer.
Lots of public parking right by the falls-- make sure to walk across the covered bridge, and along the stream. Hard to believe it was discovered by the French in the early 1600's!
Saw the falls while driving to Fort Ticonderoga & decide to stop on the way back. Very nice views of the falls in the park. Walked around a bit & took a number of pictures. A very nice surprise!
A great view of these falls either just driving by or you can walk thru the park to them. We just pulled off to view them as we did not have a lot of time to spare at this attraction
There is a lovely park with the waterfall at the central attraction. You can walk along the La Chute river and then cross over to the other side in a covered wooden bridge (only open to foot and bicycles)
Worth a quick stop on your way to other destinations. The welcome centre next to the falls is also worth a visit. The lady there is very knowledgeable about the history of the area. Visited on a sunny day, enjoyed the scenery and the covered bridge.
