We were pleasantly pleased to find this fort and tour it. There are several activities available and we only had a short time to enjoy them. People are dressed in period clothing and our tour guide was awesome!!

The fort was so so, but the Living History Part made the Museum, The first tour guide was funny and interesting and the march with the Cannon and the Drums to the field to shoot it was the best part. We spent about 4 hours there which made the admission price worth it

The remoteness made the place fairly quiet

We couldnt find Mt Defiance so

What a fantastic trip back in time! if you go to Ticonderoga, NY you MUST take a tour of this authentic historic Fort, Fort Ticonderoga. The tour guides were so informative, the location was superb, great views and great places to take pictures. Even the food in the gift shop was very good. Take a trip back in history and see where a very important part of American history was made!

Spent a couple of days touring the Fort a couple of years ago. Such realism can't be found anywhere else. This is the place. And if you are lucky, you'll get to meet Ron and listen to him give details of the days when the fort was on the frontier. Wonderfully educational experience!
