We stayed in the King James Room. The room was beautiful and comfortable. The bathtub was pure luxury. They breakfast was outstanding. Owners were friendly and accommodating. Feels like a home away from home.

A great getaway to the finger lakes made even better by Wally and Nancy. The place exuded charm. Location was right on a sleepy "Main Street", so no noise, right in vineyard country about 25 minutes outside Ithaca. Our room was excellent, spacious, and had one of the most comfortable beds I've slept in. And breakfast...nothing more to say that hasn't been said except that the added touch of watching Amish buggies speeding off to church while enjoying the fantastic food was appreciated. Wally and Nancy are super friendly and very helpful with suggestions. They clearly enjoy their guests. And let's not forget Gus. I wish my dog was as well-behaved.

We just returned from the Glass Magnolia after a perfect weekend! Wally and Nancy and Gus, the friendly dog, greeted us upon arrival and we instantly felt at home. They are just the loveliest hosts. The main house and the guest house (where we stayed) were spotless and charming in every way. Peaceful surroundings and the rooms filled with antique charm, comfortable beds and nice amenities in the bathrooms...we had access to the rest of the guest house and never really saw much and heard nothing from the other guests that were there at the time, nice and quiet. The breakfast!!!!!! Each morning we had choices of what delectable hot items we would enjoy, the coffee and freshly baked muffins with fresh fruit for starters, followed by western style omelets one day and spinach cheddar sauced poached with the best homemade sausage we have ever eaten was served in very hearty portions (no need for lunches). I have to say the best part of the stay was how we were made to feel from the instant we arrived, just every detail is meant to make you feel comfortable, pampered and welcome. Oh yes, we will be back! We are thinking of getting a group and renting the entire guest house for a wonderful home away from home vacation.

The Glass Magnolia is perfectly located for exploring the local wineries, with great access to the west side of Cayuga Lake and the east side of Seneca Lake. Ithaca, Seneca Falls are easily accessible, Watkins Glen and Geneva a bit further, but also accessible. No amenities in Interlaken, but you don't have to go far for restaurants or stores.

Nancy and Wally (and Gus) are very friendly and very helpful. Breakfasts were great. Our room was fine and the common areas and kitchen were very comfortable and useful.

We would stay again.

That is what we love about Interlaken; it is a quiet little town with great accessibility to all the Finger Lakes has to offer. It is truly "between the lakes'!

We stayed in the King James room 2/25-2/28/21. It was a lovely room with plenty of space. The two person jacuzzi was a nice touch. The owners Wally and Nancy and Gus were so friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was a delight every morning and there were always two choices (one sweet and one savory). I would definitely come back here if we return to the Ithaca area. No concerns about covid safety. Met all my expectations.
