Really enjoyed this french style bistro/cafe. Indoor and sidewalk seating. The food was excellent. Try the croque madame or monsieur; very tasty. Vegetarian sandwich delicious also. The crêpe sucrée are yummy; esp. chocolate and banana. Mimosa's were very good. Service was quick and efficient. It was a mid week visit. Weekends may be different and certainly busier as it is a small place.

This is a great little place for lunch. There are a couple of outside tables for al fresco dining and plenty inside. Very interesting collection of objects inside. The food is country french. I chose a salad nicoise and found it to be very good. It contained, among other things: potatoes, tuna, anchovies, olives, green beans, hard boiled egg, etc. all on a bed of fine greens, dressed with a wonderful dressing. My wife had a chicken and eggplant panini and enjoyed to too. A little pricey, but not bad. Definitely worth a try.

Stopped in on a rainy Sunday Labor Day weekend and sat at the bar. The staff was very attentive and the food was amazing. Great welcoming vibe! This is our new go to place!!

We were on our way to the Stormville Flea Market and were friend for breakfast first. Our first time here. Wonderful nostalgia all over the walls and ceiling. The outside tables were full, so we went inside to find a great table, half outside and half inside! Huge glass doors opened up to the sidewalk area. We were all happy. Coffee, herbal tea and a smoothie to start. Cucumber and lemon water for all of us, very good. A berry crepe, a quiche of the day - thick with tomatoes, basil, and mozzarella cheese and spices, with a side of the potatoes gratin. The guys both had the Complete crepes - egg, ham, Swiss cheese. All came with either a small salad or fruit cup. Well worth the trip to this place, I want to go back to try lunch! The waitress very friendly and helpful to explain some of the dishes.

As a francophile I tend to be biased towards those places that "get it" and do it right.
Le Gamin is one of those places. Its easy, straight forward and good.
The owner is a delightful gal
If I lived in Hudson this would be my daily hang.
