Good location. The menu is varied and offers many great choices of French dishes. The atmosphere is nice and relaxing. The servers are very pleasant. I would definitely recommend.

Close your eyes and channel the Marche aux Pouce - the bistros in the Paris Flea Market feel like the inspiration for Le Gamin Country. My husband and I had a light lunch after actively bidding at the auction house next door. The Gamin crepe was yummy with your selection of fillings. My panini met my exception. And a good list of wine by the glass at fair prices.
The service was welcoming. We left feeling happy for the visit. A bientot!

Hudson, NY, is a historic mid-Hudson Valley town with vintage curio shops, mid-century modern furniture stores, and Victorian Houses. It also has 27 restaurants and one of our favorites for breakfast or lunch is Le Gamin Country. As the name suggests the food is French, but on the lite side. You might find the setting a bit unconventional with gasoline pumps standing on the floor and walls covered with vintage road signs, but it makes the atmosphere casual and fun. Being a French restaurants, there are soups, salads, sandwiches, crepes and of course desert, all authentically French. I had a Crepe with raspberry source, and the 6 members of my family each ordered something different and reported everything was delicious. A great place to break for food when shopping on Warren Street.

Always love to bring company here but if you love to sit outside, they have very, very few tables, so you are going to have to wait! I know they are an open air restaurant BUT would love to see AC inside.....So enjoy the menu and it's a good spot to people watch!!!
