Had a wonderful experience at Fish and Game. They were very accommodating in rescheduling the reservation to a later time. Room is cozy and warmly furnished. Wait staff is knowledgeable and attentive, without rushing even though we were dining late. The opening cocktail was tasty and refreshing. The foie gras is worthy of special mention. As far as cost, for 2 appetizers, 2 entrees, 2 glasses of wine, one cocktail, and one desert that we split, with tax before tip, it was about $180. Some people may feel that's expensive. We felt it was a wonderful meal well worth the amount.

We had a lovely evening there with excellent food and a great waitstaff (ask them about the sculpture above the fireplace!)

Our dining experience at Fish and Game was exceptional. Food, presentation and service outstanding. Comfortable setting with a unpretentious menu. Foie gras, peekytoe crab omelette, halibut, venison and madeleines with cheese were wonderful. Recently relocating to Hudson from Cape Cod, we are fortunate to know that we have a great restaurant with equally wonderful team members in our neighborhood.

Beyond pretentious in every way. Fussy menu verging on strained. Under cooked fish served with the excuse that it was “lightly poached”. Decor interesting but sitting next to a sculpture of a 3 foot brass flea does not ambiance make. And any place that charged $80 for a roast chicken is way lost in its own sauce!

This place has been on my boyfriends bucket list for a very long time as he is a chef and let me tell you we were NOT let down! We both decided on the tasting menu as well as a paired wine tasting. Seriously-best wine ever! The wine was unlike anything we had tried before. We had such a great time, the service was absolutely fantastic. I wish I had remembered the two women's names who served us because they were seriously wonderful. Everything flowed so smoothly and effortlessly.

It was a wonderful experience from start to finish! If you love good food and wine - make a reservation at Fish and Game. Be open minded, let your guard down and relax, the rest will be taken care of.

Thank you for your service ladies- you made our night!
