I enjoy the food but the waitstaff/owner? are not friendly. Asked about a couple of french words on the menu and the woman acted like I was stupid not knowing them. Did not feel welcomed. Other customers that must be regulars were treated with laughter and smiles.

We were the parents of the groom for a wedding that took place in the Hudson River Valley over Labor Day weekend and looking for an intimate and lovely venue for a small rehearsal dinner for friends to take place in Hudson. From the moment I spoke to Christina about the event, I felt that I was in capable and creative hands. She was positive and welcoming and helped me plan a reception that was beautiful and intimate. It was staged in the garden at the back of the restaurant, and it couldn't have been lovelier. The table was set with linen napkins and the table ware, goblets and buffet table were set with care and thought. Christina helped us select a menu of delicious appetizers which was artfully displayed and some excellent wine. The wait staff was also exceptional, and we and our guests couldn't have been happier with the presentation of our special event. My husband and I will look forward to having dinner at Cafe Le Perche the next time we have a getaway weekend in Hudson!

After a stroll up and down Warren Street, we headed to Café Le Perche to enjoy patio dining. Umbrellas were moved so our group was nicely in the shade, and then we studied the menu. Our group focused on the eggs Benedict (not forgetting sides of crispy potatoes), other breakfast dishes, and the mushroom tart. Not a speck of food was left on our plates! The chef quickly replaced eggs that weren't originally made as ordered. The service was excellent and friendly. We'll stop by again to pick up some bread and enjoy a meal when we're next in Hudson.. .

Love sitting with dogs and friends in the lovely back garden. Great food-quiche, eggs Benedict, mimosas and great Bloody Marys. Wonderful baked bread and other goodies.

We visit the Cafe Le Perche for a brunch-like lunch when we visit Hudson, and if the weather is good we like to sit outside, a patio in the back. On our most recent visit, we had coffee and lemonade (home-made & delicious) and the two omelettes (sorry, omellet), one with ham and one just egg whites. Service was good, the food was delicious, the food and patio transport you to a different place, perhaps France if you're lucky but at least out of the hustle-and-bustle of everyday life in the US.
Prices are reasonable: we were $30, with tax and without tip (of course, as you can see we did not have wine).
