Description: American Glory Restaurant is located in historic Hudson, NY, only two hours north of Manhattan along the scenic Hudson River. Situated in the heart of Hudson’s restaurant district on Warren Street, only a 15 minute ride from the Taconic State Parkway or NYS Thruway and within walking distance of the Amtrak station. American Glory specializes in legendary wood smoked BBQ and classic American comfort foods. Our menu includes many vegetarian and gluten free options. Housed in a masterfully renovated red brick firehouse, American Glory Restaurant boasts a rich history of dedicated firefighters. Formerly the H. Rogers Hose Company it was home to the second oldest volunteer fire department in the United States;organized in 1794. The firehouse has been meticulously restored to highlight the original red brick walls, wood floors and historic grand wooden staircase.American Glory is warm and inviting, filled with the aroma of wood smoked barbecue, hometown comfort foods, enjoyable music, good times and roaring laughter.A beautiful dark wood and mirror bar with ice chilled beer taps sits on the casual pub style first floor and expansive doors open to our sidewalk dining area. The second floor houses a spacious family dining room with seating for 100 people and doubles as an art gallery, featuring a different Columbia County artist each month. The additional private dining room with working fireplace and large screen TV seats 24 people, an ideal setting for business meetings, billiards, intimate gatherings and family Sunday dinners.

Went with friends (6 people)and got there early. We were told all tables were reserved so we decided to have a drink and go elsewhere. After an hour no one was sitting at the reserved tables so we asked again and were told as long as we ordered by 630 we could have one. The tables eventually had people sitting at them but don't believe they were reserved for them. Seating is a little tight but good atmosphere and food

Visited here for the second time. The service is always slow. The wait staff seemed unorganized and the food was just not worth the price. Honestly if the service was better I would’ve been happy to spend as much as I did on the food. Last visit.

We stopped for a late lunch. Both ordered Reubens and were both satisfied. One of the better Reubens I have had. Fries were great. Only complaint was that the waitress didn't understand that iced tea should have ice. A minor issue. Very good food.

Took my brother-in-law to this restaurant after we picked him up from taking the train from New York City to Hudson we all love barbecue
When asked if he could have mustard with the two types of ketchup already on the table they told us they did not have mustard. we think that’s a little arrogant
It’s like not putting salt on the table because the Chef feels he seasons everything perfectly
palates differ and that turned me off this place the actual flavor was good not terrific but good
