This is the only beach in Seychelles, where you have to spend Scr115 per person to reach the beach. That is because the path to the beach is through a park, and the entry fee is for the park. Its a long beach, with beautiful rock formations and lots of beach bars. You can easily spend the entire day there, and well worth to wait till the sunset.

Appearing on the list of the worlds best beaches more than once, is no surprise.

Total tropical paradise and hardly a sole around.

Stunning nature and the perfect place to switch off from the world.

By far one of the most beautiful beaches ever. To access this place one needs to go through the interesting L'Union Estate. Although it is filled with tourists, this is one beach to visit when in La Digue.

We unfortunately got to this beach at low tide so our experience wasn't good especially after fantastic beaches in Mahe and Praslin. We were on a tour with a time schedule so we just lazed around on the sand. Becareful of the small crabs though, they are quick, curious little things.

An easy ride from the jetty. Once you have paid to go into the Estate ride your bike to the restaurant & park up by the small bridge. Follow the path to the beach but don't stop at the first bit of beach, carry on a bit longer until you find a spot you're happy with, then drop your stuff & explore further.

We continued walking along the beach for quite awhile & snorkelled together & our stuff was perfectly safe.

The snorkeling was OK but not brilliant. When we arrived it was low tide & the water was very shallow.

There are toilets in a kind of hut structure where you leave your bikes.

As others have said arrive early to have the beach to yourself for awhile as it soon gets busy.
