If you like original diners, then stop here. Pretty much original and well kept. Very pleasant wait staff. We had sandwiches and they were very good. Better than usual diners. Good coffee. Will stop here again when in the area

This place is win-win-win. There's great atmosphere in this classic diner. It's not overblown or gaudy but simple and spare. Think 1950s America instead of ancient Greece. The food is great, and reasonably priced. The service is always prompt and friendly. Even though it's right off the Taconic you can't see it until you've almost passed it, so remain alert for the Rt. 23 exit (Claverack/Hillsdale). About 10-15 miles north is another Taconic diner, which is much more expensive and much less charming.

This is the authentic diner that I remember as a kid. I always order Eggs Benedict when I go out for breakfast - this one was superb. Not only that, but the home fries and coffee were also wonderful. Service was excellent!

We ate lunch here on a road trip. It was a fun diner atmosphere and the service was good. The food was nothing special but we enjoyed the experience as a whole.

Their homemade soups and specials are fresh and good, everything is delicious and served in generous portions, it's always bustling and friendly. I even love their tshirts.
