We visited the Bronck House and Museum on the last day of their 2016 season. Our tour guide and museum curator explained the history of the house which was owned by 8 generations of the same family from 1663 until 1939 when it was donated to the Greene County Historical Society. Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable, and presented information about the customs and challenges of building and living in the last three centuries. Our ninety minute tour went by very quickly, and we left feeling we had learned a great deal about pre-colonial America.
