The hotel in general is acceptable but needs improvement. They have to work hard on their cleanliness. The toilet in my room is not clean, they have not changed the bed sheets & linens for the whole time we are on quarantine. The food is not sumptuous and most of the meat items are not chewable as they are stiffed. The remote controls of their AC, TV is not properly checked that it needs changing the batteries. They have not checked each room before accepting occupants, is what I have summed up.
The staff, I do not know if he is a hotel staff or from BOQ, who welcomed us at the front door on our arrival insisted that for family of an OFW, it is allowed to stay 2 for each room. But I informed him that as per the quarantine protocol communicated through a brochure, it should be 1 person per room only. And then later on receiving a call (maybe from BOQ or whatever) that it is not allowed to have 2 persons in 1 room even for a family & have my daughter & son be moved to another room.
Therefore, the IATF should train and equip all personnel involved for this quarantine dilemma very well to avoid confusion.
