This little hotel (5 rooms) is nothing special, but it is good value for the price. The rooms are spotlessly clean and come equipped with a handy kitchenette (mini-fridge with good freezer, sink, microwave, coffee make and kettle, and paper plates, cups, plastic cutlery). The hotel is in a pretty isolated location - closer to Cairo than Catskill - and there is no place to eat except the connected bar. The food in the bar on a Monday was basic bar food so don’t expect a healthy meal. But it is a friendly place and the prices are reasonable. If you need breakfast, there is a diner (Mike’s?) down the road.
When you arrive, you check in at the bar. The rooms are in a separate building so no need to worry about noise. Be careful walking from the bar to your room at night - the path is dark and steep.More
