We had the loveliest time! Five stars to management for making sure everyone's stay is memorable. Everyone goes out of their way to make you feel like family, even the camaraderie among the other guests made them feel like family! The food blew us away and the fireworks for the Italian Fest were unreal! The property is charming, it has a throwback lodge style atmosphere for which the Catskills are known. There are daily activities, plenty of opportunities for cookies and coffee, and nightly entertainment. We went Apple Picking at a local farm with the group, there is bingo, nature walks, zumba, fishing, etc. We went out on our own to the lovely town of Hudson (close by) and went to a Drive in Theater one night with the kids. We had a wonderful vacation and first time in the Catskills. We hope to go back in the summer and enjoy the pool.

My husband & I recently spent a weekend at the Green Lake Resort & Conference Center. Though we were there for just a night to check it out for our son's wedding, Our extended family will be staying there for the weekend because we had so much fun - it was a blast from the past! The rooms are similar to the old style of motel/hotel setup with 2 beds, closet, bathroom with sink separate and apart from toilet/shower, plus TV and of course AC unit by the window. Overall, it is charming and a larger facility than expected. It kind of reminded me of "Dirty Dancing". Green Lake does not offer "high class elegance" but has a familial charm that is hard to beat. The Catskills area is beautiful. The resort is across from the lake and offers boats to rent. The family that runs it is of Italian descent and they are wonderful. Their planned weekends include meals which are ample, good and a great value. Staying there gives you access to areas to visit and explore. For large families looking for a place to get together that is reasonably priced, I can't think of a better place. They do not have a liquor license and allow guests to "bring your own". For a family affair, that is a savings in itself!

Room Tip: All the rooms are the same throughout. Check the map to see which building you might want depending on whether you want to be away from the activity or closer to the main building.
