We recently stopped by this historic site and were pleasantly surprised by it lovely atmosphere and views of the Catskills. The exhibits are very informative and of course the painting by Cole and others were captivating. A visit to his home was a great glimpse into history and gave one insight into his artistic process and evolution. This is a great place to spend a few hours or an entire day. Try to go in the fall or during warmer months as you will want to spend some time outdoors.
