EVERYTHING! The entire experience of the guesthouse was awesome. From the room facilities to the swimming pool to the gardens everything was absolutely stunning. The comfort of the room was "like home." The river flowing at the end of the garden was an added bonus along with the nature walk. There were two beautiful Great Dane dogs that added to the enjoyment of our stay.

The place is onpoint,I loved everything about it.The pool completed everything....it is soo peaceful waking up to the birds sings and the sounds of nature and the river flowing is magic.The rooms have everything you need

Only stayed for one night but would definitely go back. Beautiful views and clean comfortable room. I loved every moment, from swimming in the pool to walking the trail which is accessible from the back gate of the property. A little river flowing near the braai area which just adds to the mountain retreat feeling. And a friendly helpful host made for a wonderful stay

A Riverbed Guesthouse is probably the best guest house i have stayed since my return to SA in 2013.Its in an exquisite setting with spectacular views and absolute tranquility.The owner is very friendly and every detail has been carefully thought out in the settings of the rooms

Look no further than A Riverbed Guesthouse for your stay in Swellendam. Bright, modern, well appointed rooms with a self-catering option. The guesthouse also has a wonderful pool and is located right on a river which allows access to a number of hiking trails in the area. It is also within walking distance of a number of restaurants and eateries (10-15 min max).
