I was compelled to try it based on all the wonderful reviews. I was disappointed based on my expectations. It’s located on a side street and with no appeal. At 12:30pm on a busy Sunday, the tables were empty other then us and another party of four. The omelette was good as was most of the food but no atmosphere whatsoever. Portions were plentiful and service was good but food just plain. We were in and out in 40 minutes and then walked down and around and found many other more interesting places. If you are looking for a plain breakfast this place can work for you but, if you are looking for a place with a versatile menu and fun, this is not for you. It would have been nice to have a Bloody Mary but this place is not conducive for alcohol.
this is a great place for either breakfast or lunch. local flare with prompt service and excellent specials. I've been going there for 31 years (not all those years where the same owners) . current owners maintain the same cleanliness and quality of founder,
THE BEST place for breakfast or brunch in Red Bank. The specials are always the best reason to go there. We never get the same thing twice. Usually it's very crowded but that's how it has to be when you get such good food there. we've never been disappointed - NEVER!
Delicious food, big portions, friendly staff and reasonable prices. I love getting a chorizo omelette and sitting at the counter with my young son. I feel like I'm a kid again. Highly recommended. Bring cash as they don't accept cards.
