Stayed at NYNY after having stayed at The Mirage. Oops. To say it was a step down would be a gross understatement. While the casino floor was quite nice, with high ceilings, and the food court was convenient, the room was abysmal. Cramped, dark, and worn would best describe it. I’ve had better accommodations at a Best Western. The one saving grace was the proximity to the arena. Otherwise, it’s on the wrong end of the strip, and surrounded by similarly low-end hotels, devoid of any exciting dining options. Will not stay again, but would return for a candy apple if in the area.

Everything at this hotel was good! I had the best experience. When I get a chance to go back to vegas, I'll be staying at New York New York! I like this place a lot! I checked out my surroundings and I think New York New York York has got what most people want.

The room was comfortable and clean although a bit dark even with all the lighting on. We moved from Excalibur to New York New York and stayed for 5 days. My partner's main complaint was that there was not enough sockets for charging. We had a room with a view over the strip, you can hear the roller coaster so do not choose the strip view if you are sensitive to noise. The first two days was relatively quiet, but noisy neighbours moved in on day 3 and we could hear the noise very clearly.

I would give this hotel a 3.5 if I could. The room service was good. The lady who looked after our room was very attentive and made sure that our stay was comfortable. Basic toiletries are provided. There is a hair dryer, but no fridge. As with most of these hotels, an ice vending machine is provided in the hallway.

The location of this hotel is conveniently on the south of the strip. If you wish to explore the north of the strip you can traverse the strip by using the walkway or bridges, or if the heat gets too much you can take the free tram from MGM Park to Bellagio (be warned this is a long indoor walk).

As with all MGM casinos, a fee is charged for parking. If you are a hotel guest there is a set fee per day. You can use the room key card to access the New York New York car park and other MGM car parks. On day of checkout, you can retain the room key and have up to 11.59 pm on checkout day to leave the car park. Deposit the room card upon departure of the car park on check out day. There is a room card deposit box by the car park barriers.

We stayed in one of the Penthouse Suites. Althought a little dated.... it was super clean and beautiful. The staff go out of there way in my opinion. The whole environment is fun and relaxing. Food is great! The M Life Program is a must for everyone. Through this program we now have a casino host and get great offers through the mail as well.

An older property, and it shows. The room I was provided had a slight but distinct moldy odor. For a quick overnight stay, it was tolerable, for a longer stay, that would have been unacceptable. The check-in line can be really long while the automated self-check-in can be cumbersome and temperamental, which forces you back to the long line.The cleaniness around the parking lot wasn't horrible but was very unattractive.
