I have nothing positive to say about this hotel. For starters we were traveling down there for a tournament for my child, when I got the schedule I realized we only need 2 nights not 3 so I called to cancel the first night. I was informed by the VERY rude front desk agent that I couldn’t do that unless I canceled my whole reservation and rebooked at the current rate which was going to cost me more for 2 nights then the price for 3 so I kept my reservation as it was. As soon as I walked into the hotel I knew it was a mistake. Everything looked like lipstick on a pig. All the paint was chipped and outdated the carpet was disgusting and the smell… this was a non smoking hotel that smelled like someone was chain smoking in. We checked in which took forever, went up to our room in an elevator we thought wasn’t going to make it to the 3rd floor (top) and walked into our room where we encountered a ceiling that was cracked and sagging. Again the smell in the room was awful. There were stains on all the chairs, cobwebs on the light fixtures, tears in the bedspread the list goes on and on. I went down and asked to change rooms but there was nothing available. I immediately got online to try and find another hotel but with it...I have nothing positive to say about this hotel. I immediately got online to try and find another hotel but with it being the weekend before Halloween there wasn’t anything available for less than $500/night. We decided to make the best of it by spending every minute we weren’t sleeping out of the hotel room. We opened the windows and slept with shirts on our faces to help with the smell. The faucet on our shower took all of my strength to turn on and we couldn’t ever get it to turn off again after the first time using it. There were probably 10 family’s from our team staying there and they all had similar room experiences. The pictures online were great (not at all an accurate representation of our room) and the reviews were decent, so maybe I’m spoiled but this place was gross. More
