We were heading to Wi. and stayed at the Americinn cause across street is the Cracker Barrel and 1 block down is a gas station. Several blocks down is the freeway. How can you beat that. On the way back to Colorado same thing. Sooo close to everything.

First impression was not the best. The guy at the desk was not friendly and didn't offer any helpful information other than handing us our key cards. We peeked in to see the pool, but didn't use it at all. The room had a king size bed, Jacuzzi tub and fireplace. It was quite a spacious room with a loveseat before the television and a table with two chairs that could double as a desk. A small fridge and microwave were also included. The layout of the room was good with a separate sink from the bathroom and space to move around the room without bumping into furniture. There were two main negatives about the room: 1) it wasn't prepped so the A/C was off and the room was too warm; 2) they must have sprayed for bugs recently because I found two dead cockroaches they didn't bother to pick up. Breakfast was mediocre at best. They had hot scrambled egg rounds and sausage rounds with egg muffins so you could make sandwiches, but they were pretty tasteless. The location of the hotel is good, although it is a bit pricey in comparison to other hotels. We were on the 2nd floor and had to carry our bags upstairs. There is no elevator.

Arrived late in evening staying with three small children. First room had very strong smell of animal urine and air freshner/fragrance.Had to wait at front desk on night clerk for some time. Complained, got a second room which stunk of dog. Unable to get a non-smelly room. Was now after midnight so stayed the night as didn't want to move the children to another hotel as they had already fallen asleep. Was an awful night and just felt dirty due to the odors.

Specifically looked for a fully non-smoking hotel but got a hotel that could only offer rooms which have animal smells instead.. Wound never stay here again. Also wound never stay with the AmericInn chain due to this experience.

Booked three hours before we arrived and no issues. Got our key fast, friendly front desk. $10 extra for pets, which put the king bed room at about $110. Clean and new furniture, recliner, desk. Wifi worked. Third floor was only one full flight of stairs, and there was an elevator. Nice grass for the dog outside. Sink outside bathroom. Just great for passing through. Continental breakfast was basic. Boyfriend thought it was great- bacon and prepare omelets, but I didn't care for anything. Waffle iron and cereals, etc. Pool open to adults only from 10pm-midnight but we didn't go in. Would stay again!

I love the pool policy - adults only in the pool and hot tub from 10-12. This is one of the main draws to AmericINN for me. This one has a particularly nice pool and hot tub as well. Nice rooms and facility also. Great choice for a great price.
