Self proclaimed as “the only resort actually on the beach” in Biloxi. That is a pro if you don’t want to cross the busy strip to walk the boardwalk, but in our opinion the amenities were not worth the extra cost of the actual room rates. A 1 bedroom / balcony with partial ocean view was clean and comfortable, but at 200+ per night you might expect a jetted tub, or a hot tub in the pool area; but none to be found. The pool itself is not very large, and extremely cold! The only guests we saw enjoying the pool were kids, who obviously didn’t mind the freezing plunge. The beach has no surf to speak of, and is murky; more like a huge lake. The breakfast included with the price was just typical scrambled eggs, self prepared waffles, and the breakfast meats were gone before we got through the line. Bar closes at 9. Huge inconvenience for smokers, no smoking allowed on your private balcony, you have to go down to the 3rd floor designated area (on their balcony) ??? to smoke. Staff was polite and professional. The restaurants in the area are fantastic. Overall based on our experience we wouldn’t return to this hotel.
