We stayed in 2016 and had a good time and was looking forward to our reservations for 2018. However, my Dad was admitted to the hospital and I called to explain the situation and ZERO sympathy and basically rules are rules. They would NOT let us reschedule or anything other then letting us know they were keeping our $100 deposit. Therefore, unfortunately my family will not be returning.

My family and I went here for a weekend camping getaway. The majority of the time the weather didn't work in our favor, but it was still fun. We enjoyed having a couple of parks to have our kids play at when swimming wasn't preferred (too cold, rainy, etc.)

The camping sites, lodge, restroom/shower area, and pool area were all kept tidy. We were impressed at the maintenance of the facility.

There are three pools with varying times of accessibility. The middle pool is the one open longest, and the splash pad/pool, as well as the water slides and climbing wall over a pool are more limited in the hours they are available. *If you are renting a cabin, I believe check out is at 10 or 11 a.m. so you would not be there long enough to enjoy the pool again. They will not let you use your wristbands day of checkout after the time of checkout. This is something I disliked most about this facility, especially for those who are forced to leave early.

The lake across the street was not very pleasant, and difficult to maneuver in a paddle boat with all the weeds. However, the paddle boats, and canoes are available for complimentary use. Make sure you schedule a slot for them so that they are available for you when you want to get out if you choose to do so.

The lodge has a selection of snacks, small items, and ice, but as with most lodges you will pay a premium for them. I suggest simply heading to town instead which is just down the road.

One of the favorite parts of the experience we had there was the petting zoo. You can purchase some feed for the animals and they even have a hand washing station at the end of the short, but worth it, loop through the animals.

All in all it was a pleasant trip, and would most likely recommend it to friends and family.

Our campsite was great and there was everything a family could want. Waterpark, mini golf, pony rides, play grounds, petting zoo and more. They had a Halloween trick or treating night with costumes and decorations. Our 11 and 9 year old granddaughters loved it. We are looking forward to going again.

This is a camp ground, so you don't expect all the amenities that this camp ground has.
Laundry, showers, golf, petting zoo, fishing, boating, water park, Very close to town and if you go to town do not forget to visit "Hardware Hank" a hardware store that dates back years and he has everything you could ever want. Just a real treat to visit and walk around.
Grounds are clean, kind of muddy after a rain but nice. After all you are camping. We have enjoyed this campground so much that we have purchased a seasonal site right along the busy path way. We enjoy talking to everyone as they walk by and get to know where people are from. Nice friendly staff and they are always available to help when needed.

The good: came with several families the kids had a blast. Never bored. From pool in the main office to fishing in the pond to the water park, and the list goes on. It was Halloween night when we were there. Of course the kids liked the magic show and trick or treating. The water park seemed adequately sized for the population present, there were lines but nothing outrageous. Did go to petting zoo but heard the pony rides were fun. The pre check in via the internet was great, made my actual check in process less than 5 minutes, possibly less than 3. The store has many amenities from RV water lines to eggs, but you pay for convenience. Less than 2 miles from Waterville so there is a grocery store, liquor store, or hardware store (go visit Ron at Hardware Hank, that's how a hardware store used to be and truly a gem with a small town feel) moments away. No fire rings so light a fire where convenient which was foreign to me. Very attentive staff. Year after year improvements. Staff great about enforcing quiet time

Bad/kind of bad: this is a for profit campground so campers are very close together. Yes it is expensive but there is so much to do. Know that you can use a lot of equipment for a deposit only, the waterpark is included. Just don't be surprised as you have been warned. Items at the store are spendy but convenience costs money. If you want cheaper wood buy it in Waterville from the guy who sells it out of an old mail truck $3 a bundle. There weren't many showers in my opinion but I never had a problem getting one so a minor issue guessing due to the sheer volume of large campers public shower use demand is lower. Depending on camping location bathrooms can be a jaunt.

All in all: a kids vacation, plenty to do, expensive but you've been warned, we will go again next year.
