Old Selden Farm was a beautiful historic place to stay! Very well maintained with lovely touches in the garden. They are set up as a wedding venue and it would be a great place for an event like this.

As a b&b, it was fine. The full English breakfast in the morning was fabulous - cooked by a proper chef and kept us full for most of the day!

The family room we were in was spotlessly clean. Nice surprise to have a separate room for the children and separate bathroom complete with floral designs on the big Victorian style claw foot bath :-).

Lovely countryside and we thoroughly enjoyed our walk down an "English country lane". A little off the beaten path, but easy to find with Google maps and the b&b's directions.

Few little critiques - there was the feel of the place still being developed a little as there were some building materials, etc lying around (but maybe that's meant to add to the farm feel??) The tv only had one channel, although the staff were very apologetic the next morning and promised to fix it. There wasn't anyone around in the evening to ask about it. Wifi was fine.

Very nice tea/coffee/hot chocolate/biscuit tray. Bathroom toiletries were okay but again for the price, I've had much better in cheaper accommodation.

Recommend if they want to crank it up a notch, they empty the drawers, chests, etc in the rooms of empty duvet covers, etc :-).

Overall, a very nice place with lots of character and if you don't mind the higher cost, then by all means it's recommended (especially for that breakfast!!). However, we would not stay again unless there was a serious special/discount :-).

Room Tip: If you want quiet in the morning, don't book the family room - it is right above the communal country style kitchen/dining room.

Lovely B&B in a great location for easy access to Arundel, Worthing & Chichester as well as others. Room was clean, hairdryer, tea & coffee facilities provided along with a Cafetaire. Stayed in a room away from the main house which had a stable door and garden seating right outside which was nice. Full English breakfast served in the main house. The only strange thing was as we had requested a twin room, one of the beds was against the built in wardrobes, this did not cause a problem for us as we only stayed one night but could be awkward for others staying for longer. Also a mirror in the bedroom would of been nice, currently the only mirror is in the bedroom which means waiting for the bathroom to be free before you can use it.

Lovely location, and wonderful decoration. However not the cleanest of places, I found multiple hairs in my bedding, there was a spider next to my toilet, the bathroom floor was dirty, and I found a hair in my breakfast. Despite this the, kitchen staff were lovely, and a very accommodating.
Unfortunately the underfloor heating in one of the rooms was not working, so it was bitterly cold, had just one fan heater to heat the place up, but weren’t sure about the fire risk so didn’t leave it on for too long. Wonderful place, just needs a little tweaking.

A little away from the town which is great for our stay with the dogs. Plenty of space for them to run around in the fields very close to our room. Which the owners are happy for them to use.
Our room was big enough for our two dogs including space for a cage & another’s bed. Good size comfy bed for us , clean sheets and towels. Good selection of bathroom miniatures to use & plenty of loo roll.
Well stocked with hot drinks & milk. Also had a cafetière which unfortunately we didn’t get around to using.
Breakfast was in a lovely room on site with a good selection of cereals, fruit & yogurts.
Heaps of hot toast & a delicious cooked breakfast all served to us by the most friendly of chef & assistant. Many thanks to you both for a warm welcome & wishing us well on our journey home .

I stayed here with my two daughters and three very young granddaughters for one night as we attended a family nearby. I booked a twin room for me and a family room for all the kids. The family room was in actual fact a very large two bedroomed apartment with everything supplied including a child’s travel cot.
We ordered an early breakfast and the kitchen staff could not do enough for us, especially looking after the children.
I can’t recommend this bed and breakfast enough. Give it a try.
